Club Renovations

The planned building works will take approximately six months, beginning towards the end of April and will be staged to minimise disruption to Members and their guests.  We apologise in advance for any inconvenience but trust that the team of builders and architects will deliver first class facilities that will ensure we maintain relevance within our community.

During this project, the Waratah Bistro, including the Bar, Keno Lounge and amenities will be completely refurbished. A section of the Gaming Lounge will be impacted with these works and we hope to also refurbish both the male and female amenities in the Pamls Cafe/Frank Gill Lounge.

On the Lower Ground Floor, our Function Centre will be completely refurbished including the Sports Bar and Lounge, Rear Foyer and TAB area.  Some existing TAB facilities will be relocated to the Main Bar to include two EBT's (self service terminals) and a Eureka terminal enabling TAB service during all hours that the Main Bar is open.

All the furniture in the eastern end of the Waratah Bistro is being cleared today. The Bistro is open for service, with entry via the Showroom foyer.
Please also note that the Bistro bathrooms are no longer accessible.  The Showroom bathrooms are available for use at all times and are accessible via doors adjacent to the steps leading down to the Rear Foyer.
TAB faciilities are available from the Main Bar only.

A large portion of the Waratah Bistro is now boarded off.  As you can see, the space is limited but the Club's Showroom is available for extra seating whenever possible. For all our loyal Members and guests who love our fantastic bistro food, don't stress! We are still serving lunch and dinner every day.

The brick feature columns are coming along nicely, and the removal of the old Bistro bathrooms is well under way! We are excited to see and share the progress so far.

Demolishing continues in the bistro area, with some feature brickwork starting to get underway.

The Boronia and Acacia rooms stripped.

It is looking as though a large portion of the brick work has been completed, and we are now starting to see the new Courtyard Bar and Cafe taking shape.

The flooring is going down in parts and tiling has begun! The whole space is definitely starting to take shape!

The eastern end of The Courtyard is looking pretty polished and mostly complete, including the conversion of the outdoor balcony into a relaxed, booth seating area with a lovely view. The western end including what was formerly known as the 'bistro servery' is now under construction and all access is completely blocked. Bathrooms are now open in The Courtyard, so access to the Showroom bathrooms is no longer available unless attending a function.
