Hornsby RSL Club proudly contributes over $500,000 each year to support a wide range of community organisations and initiatives. These funds help foster social inclusion, provide essential services for people with disabilities, support youth programs, enhance veterans’ welfare, and promote local sports.
Through the ClubGRANTS program, we’re committed to strengthening our role as a vital part of the community.
Funding Categories
CATEGORY 1
Category 1 funding focuses on specific community, welfare as well as social services and community development. It also includes community health services, as well as employment assistance activities.
This category is funding on an annual basis in conjunction with Hornsby Shire Council.
Category 1 grant rounds open in March and close in May each year.
CATEGORY 2
Category 2 funding is for general community development and support activities, such as junior sport, grassroots sport or veteran welfare activities. Category 2 in-kind is for local community groups seeking financial support for room hire or vouchers. The Board of Directors review these requests monthly.
The 2026 round closes on Monday 31st August, 2026.
